see, to me that just sounds....pompous/arrogant? got my swagger back? ugh. and tons of wobbling that I personally couldn't dance to, and certainly couldn't achieve a trance state to. but that's me. I prefer music that doesn't aggrandize the listeners ego in a narcissistic way. (not saying that all dubstep does that, but to me that song does)  If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

certainly music is about expression - its just that the vibe I get from that particular expression isn't a good one.
not like I'm of the opinion that all psytrance is ego-less and perfect. There's really bad psy too. that clip you posted was very similar to the dubstep that was being played at the fest I went to, and its the type of stuff that makes me run far away from whatever stage is playing it.

rightly so man...wobbly bad dubstep is a shame for any psy trance pardy...enough low quality psy is available, dub just makes it worse

I think "pairing" psy and dubstep is a pretty limited way of thinking about things. I'd say that a proper psychedelic show should have psy on main, a chill stage, and an alternative stage where all the psychedelic versions of the other genres of EDM are represented. Ya know, theres even psychedelic hardcore... Limiting it to just dubstep is just that, limiting.

I really enjoy the two together, and personally if i had to choose between 2 genres to fill up my weekend, it would be these two..but that's just me and the way i would organize a festival, personally, but it's all perspective..i think that psychedelic hardcore if anything should just get dropped at ann appropriate time on the main stage since some of the shit we listen to exceeds 170.
