I've recently been having a lot of fun mashing dubstep with psytrance. I saw this post and figured it would be a great time to blatantly self promote! Check this mix I just did-- most of the mashup wackiness is at the beginning of the mix. Did this with 3 denon cd decks - no computer mixing here sucka!

I joined this forum just to say Dub and psytrance belong together. Whether its dub, reggae, dubstep, psydub, chillstep ect. I Welcome dubstep or any type of dub area at a psytrance festival. Why? because usually the type of dub djs booked for such festivals have the same mindset of psytrance djs and are trying to facilitate similar experiences. It's all about like minded folks coming together to expose people to new music.

If you are looking for the more Intelligent/experimental side of bass genres look for artists like Djunya, Eskmo, Burial, Headhunta, ect
