the old stuff of DREADZONE. especially the album: second light..
true dub spirituality

by the way, the reggae-pink-floyd tribute is titled: Dub side of the moon! This one rocks!

cheers!!!!!!!!!!

yeah nothing more to say for shure this album is timeless(dreadzone second ligth) is release was in 1995 but its inspiration nowadays for dub music for shure the best album ever (my opinion of course bescause it brings me lot of good memories)of a dub release

Nobody has mentioned Dubtrees - the album 'nature never did betray the heart that loves her' is always bounding around inside my head like a ten tonne truck on an ice skating rink. Helen is also right - Mr. Gus Till presents us with Dub Shadows, I always knew he could do dub really nicely ever since that moovers and groovers track..

Just got the new Jah Wobble 3CD anthology _

"I could have been a contender" (Trojan)

(yes - THAT Trojan!!)

- not really straight dub - but very bass heavy and he was doing the whole ethnic thing with heavy bass years before anyone else ... well worth a listen and think its on special offer as I got mine for a tenner (£10)!!

Phutureprimitive "Sub Conscious" has a heavy dub influence. Heavy bassline drive psy-ethnic chillout.

Dub side of the moon live at big chill this year was extraordinary!

The different drummer label (that bluetech mentioned) are releasing a wide range of different downbeat music and everything is actually GREAT ... if you want to check out their releases go to their website: http://www.diffdrum.co.uk/
Groove Corporation, Noiseshaper, Mighty Math and of course their latest album release dollboy (not dub but the most wonderful electronica/ambient you can imagine)... are my favourites.

For people that want to get into dub I can recommend all the five high fidelity dub session ... a little bit commercial but a lot of good tracks from different artists.

i agree... the hifi dub sessions are nice, and although they do sound a bit too commercial, there are some tracks that stand out.
check them out
for a rootsy-reggae feeling try the roots combination cd from the same series
