10 ft Ganja Plant ( dig that name)
Ok, not strictly dub...rather classic sunshine reggae music with an updated production, deep bass, full on riddim...they have 3 releases on ROIR records that i know of and the albums feature intrumentals as well as vocal tracks, this dude sounds just like Marley, great songs.

Divine Soma Experience-welcome to the land of dragons-divine records
Pivitol psy-dub from '94, and suprisingly unheard of...feat. Roly Wynne from early Ozric's ...If you can find it, don't hesitate to grab it!

Electric Sheep knows what's up...!
I just checked out 10 ft. Ganja Plant's "Bass Chalice" and it is sublime roots dub... smooth harmonics, good production, phat bass, sweet vocals on some tracks... better than the 70's stuff.
grrrreat! |

Blasphemy!!! Hehehe. Love their instrumentals (and album art) but frankly cannot stand the vocals, with a few exceptions.
I heard the title track from krill.minima's new album on native state earlier today and really enjoyed it, although it is a bit too, well, minimal for my taste. I definitely foresee sneaking it into a dj set regardless, I think it'd be great next to some deadbeat or something along those lines. Haven't heard the rest of the album yet, but perhaps there's some more dubby treats.
Divine Soma Experience sounds interesting, haven't been able to track it down yet though. |
