Dual Monitor problem

Hey people.
I just bought a new monitor, and installed the new video card also, everything works fine, except that windows won't run unless i got 1.5 gb of ram attached to the slots.
But since logic 5.5 in PC doen;st run with more than 1gb of ram, i'm screwd.. i dont know why windows its not starting right since i placed the new monitor.
do u guys have any idea of whats going on?

I know some video cards have an option of using the system's ram. Maybe it has something to do with it?

..it's seems that u having grafic drivers problems...what is your grafic card model and what exactly grafic drivers u installed?
also fast fix: go desktop right click --> Properties --> Settings --> Advanced --> Troubleshoot and put slider of Hardware accseleration to min <-- in this settings your grafic card will NOT use system ram
