I have the Prophet 08, wich is not too far away. Altough the Mopho seems more like a bass-synth (with an extra "sub"-osc etc), I've heard they sound pretty similar.

I really like the Prophet for some stuff, like fat trancepads and soft bassines. Its not the most versatile synth, but certainly finds its places in my mixes (altough i just got it). Soft and mellow are good words for the Prophet.           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

hm i like the way you put it, it think will suit perfect to the blofeld and nord because of different characters, so this is probably going o be used for bass, basic fx and rough leads mainly, i liked very much the editor for pc theyve made, another factor to buy it, the bad is fireface can handle only two synths at time dammit

Assume that you used the prophet for the ambiances youve made on your latest tracks, sounds really smooth and fat indeed(talking about the Unknown Cause)

Actually, all sounds used in the Unknown Cause tracks ive shared, are ITB
And those tracks are pretty old, I should post some new ones

Why not use a patchbay if your FF cant take anymore?

see anyway good work frag

Well i got the mopho and it sounds brilliant and huge, the filter and envelopes are not so snappy enough i think, for making instant basslines, though i havent dig it so much, the low pass filter is very very smooth and warm.
Basically i was amazed by some sequenced percussion patches, really fat
It has that "vibe" like sticking in the mix and at the same time jump out of it, fitted the rest of my setup really good

searching the character of each synth and combine their timbres is the best thing, addiction, im in love with all of them

gonna order the editor from soundtower these days too, will make the things easier (only negative is that, the screen is just to small for sound synthesis)
