i sometimes get some kits from magazines I buy... computer magazine even has a vst plugin which they built with Muon Software company...SR-202 with loads of samples... |

definately just do a search for samples on the net man!!!!! there are sssssoooooooo many out there!!!!
also most music magazines come with free samples these days.
Mike, i think it was an issue of 'Computer Music' magazine a coulpe of months ago, they made like 50 different drum and fx kits for it.

Try Native Instruments Battery. It is a drum sampler as a VST 2.0 instrument & comes with 500 meg of drum kits (each kit has 52 sounds which can be routed to 52 different stereo channels in cubase/nuendo!!) All of the controllers are fully automatable with a fatboy or similar midi controller. |

You can always try to synthesize your own. Check out for example in infected's site "How to make Infected Kick" it tells you how easily to make nice kick with Sound Forge only!
