seriously guru looks sick but how do u make sure that it only plays it differnet places in the track cuz when i make a pattern on it and the drum roll sounds perfect, i press play on ableton and it just keeps rolling non stop...how do i make sure it only drum rolls at 1 part only, u know, like a freakin regular psy track lol           saii.rave.ca

If you drag the midi from guru onto a midi track then delete the pattern it will play the pattern you made like a normal drum sampler. Also there are different settings for playback in the sequencer if you want to only keep the pattern in Guru. Just check the manual, it's pretty well laid out. I usually do my sketches in Guru and then drag out the MIDI. Good luck           ~Airyck~

There are buttons that look like they are laid out similar to a keyboard. When you click on one it changes to a new pattern; drag one of those into your sequencer and it will copy the pattern and anything like repeats, cutoff, shift, etc... automations to the track so it will play back just as it did in Guru.

Then switch to a blank pattern so it doesn't play anymore and then it wil just play back from the sequencer (make sure you have guru selected as the output on the midi track and that it's on the midi channel that corresponds to the correct guru engine).
One catch is that your sequencer has to support drag'n'drop of midi files (e.g. Cubase 4 or Live etc...)           ~Airyck~
