Anyone who advices on how to build drums troughout a song.
How do you create more intense drums from soft drumming. I find my drums to sound quite boring and monoton after a while, how can i avoid this?

i think the key is the groove with different velocity and position on the time line (quantize off if needed) and fxs , phazer flanger delay..everyhting can work but at small dose..; then automation of the fxs and panning to get more open and intresting sound and the right width for stereo sounds.
maschine make these things easier and fun
or maybe you mean with synthesis ? making layers work good to make things more intresting

Try to build longer loops
aye, also try making a slight change in the drum loop towards the end of the phrase (8 or 16bar or watever)
for example re-arrange some notes, add flams fills etc.
this will signal to the listener that there is some completeness in the loop and also that it isnt the same thing over and over

+1, and do as snowdogg stated, keep the listener hooked with changes, breaks, fills, crazy stops, everything goes.

Also,if you use Ableton, good trick is,after you write your drum loop, you have this "loop" option,so your clip becomes a loop and you can extend it.
Don't loop it exactly for one/two/whatever bars.Loop it,for example, one bar and one bit. That can give you cool variation when you extend the loop.
It has actually something to do with different rythm signatures together, look here for some cool info
(not exactly psytrance related but good to know)

As stated earlier, compose longer loops.
Grab a microphone and record yourself jamming to the loop. Just hit table, book or almost anything. (I use a tin can that peanuts came in.)
Then convert to midi or cut in recycle.
You will find yourself automatically playing fills and whatnot in right places. It will just come and sound natural.
You can even beatbox with your voice, then cut.
Automate fx. Try automating reverb and delay.
Build spaces for your percussion.
Think about building and releasing tension throughout the song.
