well its more that i am kind of bored with the way i was doing psytrance myself, kind of stuck. when i listen to the last track you put here of Break i get inspiration again. I like the freedom in D&B they allow themelves with melodies and dig the noisy drums stuff also very much. still dont know how to get it together with psy but thats ok, mybe just going for d&b on itself. will see. at least for breaks i see possibilities. going through the top 100 of the dogs and hear very interesting things. (also a lot of things that i dont like). maybe i am even more into breaks like they call it on dogs, hedflux has some nice tunes.
so feel free to educate me further. and waddabout your new culture vulture, you have it?

not yet the store should have it soon hopefully .
same as you i don t know much about dnb...with all their style ,neurofunk and all this, it s like chinese to me lol i produced some tunes in the past than never get fully finished, i like to use a lot of real drums they can take lot of abuse , i usually started with some drum loop riped from old funk vinyls slice ,re arrange and process the shit out of it layer my one shot on top but now i think i m gonna use only one shot of high quality sampled drum kit might help to get a more futuristic modern sound.

Ah,drumnbass....Same thing happened to it which is happening to psy right now.Shitty crowd and tons of newcoming untalanted producers killed the scene.
For oldschool sounds look for Goldie.I like Burial but he is not exactly dnb (he has tunes which are strictly dnb,but not all of them),check him out.
Look Netsky,he is doing of the the dnb substyles, but I've read he is talanted (haven't heard much of his stuff),so I guess this one is also good for checking out.
Now this one is psy-flavored dnb (I think the producer of it was producing psy) : Cybernetika.
For fuck in your brain dnb, check for "future sound of london" (they have dnb tracks, but you have to look for them).
I don't know dedicated dnb forum, but many folks who do dubstep also try their hands in dnb ,so you can ask your questions and they will be answered in : dubstepforum.com
From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)

yeah Goldie, remember his concerts, man so long ago. guess i have to study it like i did with psy. some help would be great, i also did my dl homework and have to get into Massive think. Maybe good idea to first listen a lot and select from there what i like most. Might be psybreaks or something like that. Listened Talvin Sing could use some more attitde/dirt for me but nice. anyhow when i listened the new tracks section here i heard several guys coming up with really new styles. maybe that triggered me, but i still like the psytrance influences. i dont have the 'seen it all know it all' feel about psy but am myself stuck with it in producing. goin now to the sequencer for another bl combo is not working anymore.
