handA what you just outlined is the reason the scene grows and then gets perverted. in ny at parties for the first hour you see people running around all frantic looking for their ph<7 or mdma and will not enjoy themusic until theyve found it. this is quite sad and will deplete from the authentic positive energies of a party.the power has to come from you and it can, we are equipped for it.psychotropes can show you your potential of mind but upon frequent usage will deplete that very potential only being able to reach it with the substance,

Agreed.. Use and abuse are related, but they are not the same. And after all like Phobium so nicly wrote. there is a reason for why it is called psychedelic trance

What do you mean "drug abuse" at a party? Is it drug abuse to take one xtc pill? Some weed before entering the club? Snort a line of amph before the party ect ect? Because again.. There is a difference between abuse and use.
And remember that both alcahol and siggarets are "drugs" hehe, man.. Even love making has a drug effect. |

Of course use and abuse is related. You start using drugs and then you become an abuser.. Quite logical!
But just because the music is surposed to be psychedelic, which it isen't really that much anymore unless you do heavy drugs , does not mean that you need to abuse drugs. The whole point is that drugs should be used causious and only to support the music. Not as so many seem to do today. They abuse drugs by doing it every single weekend (some also on week days) and they come to the parties to do drugs. Not to suport the music. Of course there's those that only do drugs ocasionally and do it to support the music but IMO they are getting rare at parties. |

Its not necessary to do drugs at a party, you can party without drugs.
However, many people prefer to do drugs when partying when given the choice.
It hasnt got anything to do with psychedelic trance, let not get that mixed up with drugs.
It has to do with partying in general, people do drugs at parties in general.
Maybe some drugs are used more often than others at psytrance parties, but thats a matter of taste/preference.
If your into fucked up psychedelic music and dancing/connecting with people LSD and MDMA will probably be your drug of choice.

then you lack faith in people, it is not as simple as that. It is not quite logical that people using drugs automaticly abuse drugs. Maybe you had personal problems conserning this at one stage in your life HandA, but that doesnt automaticly include everybody.
