We have just returned from Austria...last night....the organisers have not paid for our flights, hotel's and leave in a god forsaken place to figure things out in an alien country...very very sad indeed as just shows what respect the organisers of events have for the artists - because of whom these festivals happens - very unprofessional and amateur behaviour on behalf of the organising team - very very bad KARMA this will bring - the show must go on

the article in german is very good and says it all.
the organisers are a shame for the scene.
the unrespectful and not loving way of treatment of the artists and the people which came from half the globe is a - no go.
i feel sorry for the artists and the people which were left stranded
you are the ones my love goes out to |

yes it seems that the promoters are not professionnal at all
but if you are an artist or a label mananger be professionnal too: never go without a flight ticket and hotel paid by the promoter! the artist don't have to advance his flight ticket when he's booked somewhere.. so you can blame yourself too
my 2 cents !
ps: i think we will not hear about the promoter for a while because of all the advances they have to pay to some artists !

i would like to thank the nice austrian girl(Michu?) who helped me and my gf find a hotel in the middle of the night when it got obvious that there won't be any festival.
two thumbs down go to festival organizers!
from what i understand there were alot of ppl involved, not just the Gal person.. |

This is very sad. I hope everyone is safe and things unfold in the best possible way. Makes me wonder I appreciate the organizer's good will and dedication to put up a festival like this despite the bad image many times linked to those events. I understand it's 100 times more difficult to make it happen when there are people working for it not to happen and all I can say is, next time, get all the paperwork neatly done and flawless, hire a lawyer to talk to the authorities beforehand and get help from each other, there are many experienced people around, cuz we have the right to dance, but if it's too risky the juice might not be worth the squeeze.

Also just went home from this weird experience!!
It was afterall one of the most wicked things i ever tried.
We arrived to the airport, and got picked up by Mishu (u are an angel) and drove to the hotel, which was not booked and which we had to pay for our self. Allready on the way to the hotel Mishu told us that there was big problems with the permits.
When we arrived to the location Gal still told us that everything was okay, just small things with the permits, but the festival would start for sure.
In the beginning of the evening a lot of armed cops came and told us that it was over.
My view of it all is that it all is a mixture of an organisation that wanted to do more than possible for them, and some authorities that did not want the event to happen at all!
I´m sure the organizers intentions were good, but it ran off their hands...
The location was one of the most beautiful, and it could have been the festival of the year! |

this is very sad indeed the festival was looking good with one of the most promising lineups.
festival organisers shouldnt post the event unless got all permissions required are obtained.
respect!
