I dont want to spread bad Rumours here, and all i write here canīt be taken as a fact. Itīs just what i have read on german based site http://www.goabase.de.
The local polices has checked he Festivalsite, and did not give the permission to let the festival take place. They say that there are problems with different regulations (as ambulance, saftey of the stage etc.), and will shut down the festival if it is going to happen. A user from goabase.de has called the local police and, according to what he wrote, they confirmed that.
Please try to confirm that for yourself, i canīt gurantee that this rumours are right.
dit: Another User confirmed that the police told him that they will shut down the festival!

I've heard the same from a friend who on his way there... Said everything is locked down by police.
Meanwhile they've even changed the police officers from "the locals" to "the really mad ones in black"!
Just one word: fuck! |

what's up with the festivals this year??? first the Mental Soup and now Drops Reflections!!!
why are the organizers to stupid to manage all permissions???

I donīt think that the Austrian Police will let anybody enter the festival, i think they are making sure that not a single beat will leave the Speakers...
But its not only the police to be blamed, the final inspection by Austrian authorities happened only 3 days before the beginning of the festival, way to short for a Festival of that size. They had no time to fullfill all necessary reglementations after the inspection.... |

ppl what i can say that i talk with gal right now by phone
and thay work very hard to make this festival esecly like thay say befor
and all ppl can come to the festival all ok

Well, I have some news.
The police is there, waiting for orders apparently, but the promoters insist they have all the permisions, and they started playing music.
All of the artists I know and have on my MSN aren't going.
As well I have very good friends of mine there who've set up a stall, they're just trying to get their money back and go to Hungary.
I'll keep you posted.

in a swiss forum a read that la baaz is not having the flight ticket yet and that a few iboga artists are not flying to the festie...looks like this one is not gonna happen.
