Today's show is the "Krelm just-back-from-vacation" edition. This means for the first half of the show, I'll be featuring my breaks mix from Feb. 2005 titled Gonzo Beats. It's a breakbeat-driven ode to the late & great Hunter S. Thompson recorded after a long tequila-filled night of "mourning".
The guest mix is from Greek progressive artist Drone, who have recently released an album on the label Headstick Recordings (sister label of Joystick Music). Drone is the duo of Dimitris Magglaris (aka DIMA) and Giorgos Kokkinos (aka GIO RED) from Thessaloniki, who have been producing music together for 5 years. Their style encompasses a number of influences, with the outcome being a lush tribal-infused atmospheric trip with massive bass sounds (and coincidentally some of the most played tunes on my show in recent months  ). The guest mix showcases a more peaktime feel of the Drone DJ sets, featuring a heavy dose of artists such as Beckers, Fitalic, Infusion and Chriss Source amongst many others.
