hey, i just put together a mix full of old school goa with tracks from '95 - '97 or so.. it's not all 'hits' and classic tracks - there is some variety, some obscure songs... for those that dont like the old style of trance, i would *not* recommend it. the music here is cosmic, full on at times, and has an epic touch. this mix is beatmatched, sometimes for a couple of minutes at a time. technically it isnt flawless, but i think it stands up fairly well.
you can find this mix on audiogalaxy by joining the group "seething_tachyon_pond" (mention why you're joining) and after its been up for a few weeks you should be able to find it by searching... the title is " drifting through the galaxy" - in 192kbps mp3 format, 100megs, and around 70 minutes long. there's 13 songs in here all from different labels...
for the next two weeks or so i challenge listeners to identify the tracklist - best guess in that time will recieve a copy of this mix on audio cd mailed to 'em (or some other tasty prize)... so email me your opinions and reflections, as well as tracklist guesses: dieznyik(at)hotmail.com |

nah, just a sunday afternoon puzzle for interested folks.
if you could buy any of the old music it really would make a difference but well, you can't, so what's the harm? better let it live than forget about it altogether. |

well, something like 25+ people downloaded it... on friday i'll put out the tracklist but no one's made a guess. won't do this next time  thought it might be fun but i was wrong. |
