This is a good crazy psytrance track. The sound texture of the track stays sorta the same through out, which makes it kind of boring to listen too. THOUGH, that may not matter, if this was played at volume @ a festival or party, I'm pretty sure you'd blow some heads up, and make some asses bounce up in down in the air.

My feedback would be try focus some of the ideas, so there is more of a sectioned themes, so the track tells more of a story, which you are kind of already doing, but maybe even more so.           New album out @ psyshop - http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/gre/gre1cd013.html

Hi Sound Raven thanks for your feedback really made my day I know exactly what you mean about sectioned themes and making more of a story.. well regarding themes i would love it if you could maybe correct me, clear something up?? The song needs different parts "THEMES" that are different to other themes but have some sort of resemblance to other parts "themes" of the song so that they tell more of a story? I have to ask as well if the themes can be completely different to each other or will that change the main theme to much??

Well thanks for listening....
Kind regards Ant

Especially i like the middle part, from 2:50, that bass + synths, very hypnotic to me           http://soundcloud.com/taii

Thanks Taii the bass does seem to stick a little to the ears and i am happy you like it.. Frost Raven refers to telling more of a story by using sound.. could you perhaps explain how i can archive this... Please dont just say beginning middle end chourus.. i am looking for a idea for the "concept" EG: explanation how much can i vary the sounds? can i have a simple lead build up to another lead that changes completly or should the leads be similar but have more variation i find this topic hard to discus and i will be honest if i can get this right i will be on the right road to telling stories with my music which i would love to do. anyhoo any advice is welcome

Kind Regards

you don't have low end at all. you have to improve it if you want it to work on the dancefloor.
where is you snare/clap? i think you need one.
your leads are not loud enough and not enough pwerfull. put on them some distortion, reverb, delays. space it up!
i don't realy listened to the track so i won't respond on the track itself.           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

Thanks dj chichke,, I do have a little disadv<antage to getting the low end out thats due to my poor speakers,, I can up the bas low end but i dont get to hear the final result to well.... But hopefully soon i can get a decent pair of monitors as for leads i think i can add some distortion thanks again....

maybe you should work more with analyzer about the low end till you ger decent monitors. looks at some music you like how should it looks like.
it's not about raise the low end with eq. you need to get better kick that isn't jusy clicky, it's also have fat low end. it's easier to get the click with eq and compression than get low end. and i think the notes you choosed for the bassline are too high.           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

Just EQ the bass and kick. More whoomph without ruining the sound you have going. I really dig the bouncy bassline and the leads are cool, but I gotta agree a little more overdrive and loudness on them (not too much though) would be fantastic.

That grinding metal sound, the one that kinds sounds like a mechanical turkey? Maybe you should do something with that.. I'm not sure what exactly. But something anyway.

I don't have any complaints about the song structure, I think if you fix the production problems, that it will really improve the feeling of the track.

I think its a really good track, very danceable if you fix your lowend problems

I think you could give it a highpass, because the hats are just to high pitched.. If I had to listen to this in a party I'd become somewhat annoyed with that.

Else wise, I think everything has been said.
