picked up this little re-releason Avatar and have to say for something so old, this s qulaity beyond some of more modern releases no insult intended to artists on this forum hehe)... it just so nice to listen to with or without headphones, and to manage a 28 minutes track that is s breathtaking is great... wish the second album by these lads would be r-released

Can anyone explain why they use the TerrenceMcKenna sound bytes "all male deity"...and that "the god of western civilisation has nothing to do with women"...I may be missing the point but these sound bytes are irritating and controversial!!!

I have heard & enjoyed Pete Namlooks AIR series.

it's a great album indeed.

about the vocal samples: it doesn't necessarily mean that they feel it should be that way (i don't know about mckenna's thoughts either). it can also be pure information without taking any sides. or maybe they feel it's (the lack of the feminine) an explanation for what the western civilisation has become?
i haven't felt the track as controversial
but then again i'm a male

btw. i don't think the statement is true
(virgin mary for instance has a big role
in christianity...) in any case

mckennas point is that the biblical deity has no wife, partn er, mother ... unlike most other religions. it struck me as a profound observation that I hadnt thought about before...
