So yeah just been listening lots to this label in the last 24 hours and it really had its own specialty unique sound, really had the sound of India & Nepal for me (incense and pot smell in the sound, amazing stuff IMO).
What actually happened ? Why did this label die? And why has noone thought to reissue a remastered best of?
I could imagine, for example DAT Records, there'd be some amazing unreleased works from his label and Youths Butterfly Studios.

I totally agree and I also love that the music has that scent that comes with it
This was Steve Youth's label right? Just going by the different musics that he's been involved in, seems he's the type that will migrate out of a music after a while, for whatever reason.

Taken from the Dragonfly facebook page it seems they are back in business.
We Have now secured a new manager for Dragonfly and Liquid sound design. 4 new releases planned over next 6 months including a Delux "Order Odonata" box set including rare unreleased tracks and mixes from the vaults and book written by Youth on the origins of the phenomena of psychedelic trance. |

i dont really find it have unic sound and direction it s more about era/years they folowed the trend, lot of good release.. |

Thanks for mentioning DAT OzMike .. I would certainly like to bring back that sound on my label, I am not sure it's the easiest but right now as we speak I am trying to score some tracks for a compilation that would have that feeling, hopefully all will go well! |
