lots of effects are better to record (use mic(s)) first some good sounding thinsg before putting them to sequencer for further modifications.
Good example is the sound design for original star wars movie, were almost all was recorded at the first stage.

Sure that is a step sequencer. Also there is a gate sidechained from a ryhthmic base making it jumping. It's just to have a good synth with a good arpeggiator module, with handly options.
In anycase, if you want to play each note you won't achieve the same dynamic at all, or you are some chinese prodigy child pianist.
A solution is to reduce the BPM for interpretation and so return to original tempo.

I don't understand you tbh mate. I mean to record with microphone something and than put it into sequencer and manipulate the file.
For instance common technique by Foley Artists to make rain is simply to take a piece of paper in the hands and rustle it and record it.. later a bit of sequencer plugins mainly eq, and done, this often is rain^^
Last time I recorded sounds from my kitchen, fuckin awesome how many things sound so diverse. Use your imagination and experiment, it's quite fun to put it later to your daw and using effects makin somehting totaly diffrent from such sources.

try a saw wave, put a low pass filter after that, turn up the resonance until filter self-oscillates, play a very low note and play with the cutoff. then add a hp filter to get rid of the bass.
if you want it to go faster, play a higher note and the other way round.

i will try that with sylenth....
now i got plenty work to do with all those tips thanks

yes sequencers like ableton, logic or protools, cubase, renoise etc
you want to use LFO modulation on audio - get the audo file onto a sampler like battery or kontakt and use lfo rate there.

soo what i have understood so far that there is specific chords to fit in a scale...
so in goa trance i dont play these notes of the chords at same time, i can make a 3 bar riff with 9 notes, using 3 chords of the chord progression of the tone im using to create a more harmony notes sequence then using the 7 notes of the music scale...
hmmmmm that would give alot of work in music theory to make this...
im doing quite fine just working on the Phryigian scale of the tone im using
nice to know, tell me if im wrong

Just saying that now I'm taking producing more seriously music theory & learning to play melodies etc. has become so important for me
I'm back having piano lessons after 22 years & it's sooo helping me lay down someuch better leads n' creating great progression throughout a track.
