For those of us who aren't lucky enough to have a separate room as our studio and have to try to cram everything into our bedroom, I just discovered something awesome... you can get loft beds (elevated beds) in double or queen size, and put your studio underneath. I always thought that loft beds were for kids with single beds but apparently not. Check it out:

Now I can stop worrying about renting places with huge bedrooms.

I would never trust my gear under one..           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

A good pair of handcuffs and/or leg irons will fix that problem.

I have a room more or less dedicated to audio, I am sure some people find this kind of thing a great alternative though! Nice idea.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Actually, from a strictly acoustic viewpoint that might be a nice way to limit reflections from above the speakers, which is a common acoustic weak-point for bedroom studios.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

That looks really smart, the block steps up to the bed look really nice.

Worth a consideration if space is limited!
