I just recently watched Donnie Darko a movie I discovered when I came to the Satates. I had never befora even heard of this movie, perhaps it wasnt as big in Europe. Anyways me and my friends spent a lot of time discussing it and trying to make sense out of the ending. I would like to hear someone's opinion on it. |

knowing ur future b4 it happens..
Why he laughed in the ending is still a mystery to me, he cud have thought , all of it is nothing but a dream, but if he knew that it was goin to happen, then to save his chic - he wud have to break the cycle - which wud change everything, even save his mom from the crash - if i recollect properly.
had to watch it 3 times also hehe
just for info -

The first time I saw it (yesterday) a few things got passed away.

WHAT???? I was going to make a song with that sample! He telepathically stole my idea! =(
Anyway, yeah the first 3 times i saw it i understood more and more!
Very interesting concept, it was btw really popular in Europe!
I just love also the atmosphere in the movie
