I know that, for produce a sound quality music, it has to be make by levels. Thatīs wy u use reverb, because some loops have to be behind some other loopīs,, correct me if iīm "rong".
So what u need to do is construct your music by levels,, there are some sounds that have to be more deep than the others,.
My problem is that I donīt know for sure what frequenci should I use for the sounds, like druns, kiks, melody. What is the best frequency for each other??
Thanks

schuenk - most of the sounds have almost all freq's but thre are main freq's you need to know
try to search the net and find some sites about eq'ing there you will find the main freq's range of the common instruments

hey schuenck - thanks for not being annoyed at me that did sound quite rude actually!

what i meant was that u cant say "kicks should be at 80hz" or whatever because anything can go pretty much anywhere .... i've heard some psy tracks with real deep 60hz kicks, some with really high sounding 200hz kicks ... so u really just have to judge with your ears to fit everything in with all the other sounds in that particular track

this might help tho:

hmmm....many ideas.....
perhaps as a metaphor, thing of different layers....bass and kick in the low...sounds and some percussion in the mids and hats and atmospheres in the highs...

-formula #248-

kick....fat sound, leave it alone (no compression, nothing....a good sample!)

bass, , adjust lengths for some feel and low CUT below +/-85-90k and perhaps a high cut around +/-800k (of course it's up to you...)
...and not TOO loud (make a balanced feel by touching the bass woofer, you can feel it....no really try it...) the bass and the kick hitting together can sound like crap....of course it 'can be anywhere' but, it' important to keep in mind what PA's can represent the best....

mid sounds///cut below +/-500k (some compression here can make it BIG)

hats, tight....cut it up to a sizzle....

finished track....find the crapiest speakers you can and if it sounds good...your in luck!

this is ONE way, but fairly consistent....for a pretty fat sound for trance, dub, hiphop...whatever...

seriously, I don't think it's about any gear either, pc/mac, any program....with a few production tricks you can make something sound decent on any gear....best luck...

project name>?
