here is some answers for u:
1)people - as we all know shantipi is the gathering of all the great people of israel, well to tell u the true, i've been at the last 3 shantipi'es and as the years pass it becomes more and more big, and the crowd is getting more and more mixed.
2)water - all the idea of doing the festival in ganei huga is becouse of the water. as u know this is a very hot time in the year and the cold water is very usefull.(i've been in the water for half a festival last year).
3)food - not the cheapest prices in the world but o.k (mehirim svirim)
btw - there is no meat in the food stands
4)cops - there are few cops in the entrance and u gonna have a search in the bags when u enter the festival so be carefull. inside the festival there are few cops as well but they are not realy disturbing anyone.
5)presale - the presale started already so u can buy a ticket right now if u want.
