Have we ever stopped and looked back at the logistics of consuming of drugs???
We are all not saints here... we all love our poisons but don't realize that we are fueling the anti bodies in the world in succeeding in their horrifying missions.
New York, London, Mumbai... which city next??? and knowing this 'FACT' how do we sleep with so much blood on our hands??? Indirectly, guys, we are at fault here...
The next time you 'light-up' or 'jack-up' - remember...by doing this, I have enabled a terrorist to take another life...

i know it is extreme but given what has happened in mumbai, i think it's time to be a little extreme.
plus m not an american  ... indian lived whole life in mumbai... and now frustrated at the ineptitude of the government and the lack of co operation by the people... it's time we get together and hit the terrorist at their source... their bank accounts...

take it easy and stop the blame game. and btw.. assets of a lot of the potential terrorist organizations were frozen a while ago... too late to stop this attack though. a good amount of the money was channeled from elsewhere. |

What funkie junkie says does have an iota of truth to it unfortunately. The major income in Afghanistan is from poppy production, fields owned by poor farmers who sell it to locals involved in terrorism..this is a major form of income for them. There is no other livelihood in Afghanistan for example, and locals find it most beneficial to engage in the cultivation and production of heroin. Why do you think usually the mafia is involved in illegal substance trade, and where do you think alot of this money goes?? Unfortunately, it is a sad reality. Legal assets maybe frozen, but there is no accounting for the millions of $$ that is unaccounted for. Now if these substances were made legal it would not be thecase, but sale of illegal substances, and all illegal commodities is how such outfits finance themselves.

whooof. why why why!
whatever the truth might be I really don't feel this is the right section of the right forum to be discussing it. one good reason being people here are not heroin users ... not a good time to create such an association.
the people who are competent enough to understand whats going probably know about the afghanistan-opium connection already.
