My dog got no problem with any kind of music. Sleeps through anything can be cosmo or carbon based lifeforms. He seems happier around music.

+1
My dog does his own shit no matter what music i play, as long as i don't suddenly start blasting it when he's sleeping & volume is bearable.
I assume he likes ambient/chill though |

You gotta remember that dogs have highly advanced hearing compared to ours (we cannot hear past around 20Kh, dogs can hear upto 45Kh) so high pitched squeeky psy noises really loud are probably gonna do horrors to dogs ears...
That said though my dog seems to get really excited when i put prog on, always goes downstairs when i put dark fullon sorta stuff on, and just chills when i put chillout on
Love dogs

There is NO SINGLE reaction from my dog with psytrance, loud played or not, fast or slow...
It is strange and funny how the dog does not notice the sounds from the speakers... but when somebody is near my door(even by the elevator which is 5-6 meters from the door)the dog stands up and jumps around so damn fast... It's funny how it makes difference between the speakers trancy sounds(music) and other sounds from my home or the neighbourhood... But then, it's trips out badly when the vacuum cleaner is on, it's a devil for the dog

reckon dogs hear beyond what us humans can and therefore find sounds that excite us boring.

How high the frequency response dogs can hear can be left to the technical department.
In personal experience when we have psy outdoor psy parties in India ive seen stray dogs trancing out in the middle of the night. Basically running around the high energy dancers trying to keep up with them, randomly barking in the air every now and then as if some energy is around. One helluva experience.
This is besides the fact that i did try to lure it with some food and in the process blew some tokes on its face.

My dog quality controls for the music we feature on each cd
http://www.tantrummrecords.com/gallery.html
BPM no barr, it's the frequencies that can turn them off. Thus Mr. Moo Moo (my dogg) can handle trance, break beat, hardcore...but the moment he hears jazz or anything with a trumpet he freaks the hell out.
