and how can u say that psychadelic music is not related to drugs... this music was born on drugs!
i never said that trance makes junkies... nevr, coz its not. i just said that in some incidents it brings people to try out drugs. |

the only music i know of that was Drug Induced, was The Native American's music. Techno and trance derived from 80's pop music, not from drugs. kill this disscussion while it still has a point.
btw, a famous French Artist used to drink perneault while painting. does that make all painters Alcoholics?
I make music when i am completly sober. when i go to parties, i usuelly Don't smoke anything. i am not an E user nor do i take LSD, in any shape. and i smoke some weed, occasionally. does that make me a Junky? |

Trance is related to drugs?
Some guys make me puke with their stupid ideas.
Sorry to express with this way but drugs make me sick.I have been listening to trance for 3 years and i never felt the need to use drugs in order to listen to this music correctly.
Drugs suck big time and u cant listen to music while u r DRUGGED as the word says because simply
U HAVE NO SENSES AT ALL.So how can u feel the vibe while being on drugs?????? |

and to detox: as i said on my first post in this thread... it should b a history lesson. just check out the history of the psychadelic music (the 60s & 70s) and also the history of trance...
we know that the "godfathers" of trance (world trance & israeli trance) are/was well known drug users. so 2 say that trance dont have [u]ANYTHING[/u] with drus is just being naive and politicly corect.
and back 2 the subject... trance music dont make people junkies.

ok.
i said it before.
and i will say it for one last time !!!
90% (!!!) of the world use some kind of drug.
and i mean alcohol amd nicotin that are MUCH more dangerous then psy drugs !!!
and thats a fact.
come on ppl.
the first reason ppl die is heart attacks.
the second is LUNG CANCER !!!
DO THE MATH YOURSELF !!!
thousends of ppl die every year from smoking ciggaretts.
so stop all this stupid disscution about drugs.
show me 1 (!) man died from WEED !!!
there is no.
maybe 10 or so a year die from E because they are stupid or it was poisend...
and few ppl lose their mind after taking LSD, but as i said before LSD is not for everyone...
so all this arrguing about junkies shmunkies is stupid.

i dont know about you people but i think i understand trance pretty good. I dont do drugs, weed, cigarettes nothing. Maybe an occasional drink of alcohol. Ive been listening to trance for about 6 years?! well I love trance and its a part of my life, I dont think linking drugs to music, drugs to parties is a good way of thinking. It might be reality but, its just doesnt bring good vibes.
A lot of parties in japan get fucked over cuz somebody in the party did too much drugs(causing a fight, fainting, etc..) I hate people who come to parties for the drugs.
To me people should go to the parties for the music not the drugs. Trance dont make junkies, People make themselves junkies. |

I think that all the people that blame Trance (rock, pop, jazz.. etc) for making junkies (bring ppl to drugs and so on...) just want to have an excuse for their actions (That's not me !!! It is trance, that made me do it...) and they need to blame smth and not themselves...
That's my 2 cents. |

Many many great artists used drugs (Pink Floyd, Beattles etc.), and many didn't.
Drugs were used in the last century and in this one.
You can't blame music for making people take drugs. You would have to blame all of the 60's, 70;s 80's, 90's and our era. Our parent's generation did it. Only then people didn't talk about it that much. |
