hello guys ,
was making music 2day and always had this in mind ... so i thought , id finally ask 2day ...
all the time i feel the need for a simple LFO tool , that will modulate any parameter in cubase .... the vsti and the vst fx ....
where ever i set it to ...
get me ???
for example , while working on FL 5 .. you can right click on any parameter on any vsti or any native control or any parameter of FL and effects plugin and draw an LFO shape for it ... which makes it really easy to modualte stuff , instead of always automating .....
so , was wondering , if any such tool was ever made for Cubase Sx / nuendo users ..... it would be soo much fun to simply put an LFO on the freq knob of my phaser or the freq knob of a waves eq ...intead of automating them ... while stilll an LFO would sound soo much different !
so incase there exsists something like this ... please let me know ... or else

yeah I'm looking forward to see how's done in other sequencers
indeed in FL is sooo easy
I assing then everytime..lfo's all the way
let me take the opportunity to ask one thing as sometimes while I'm working with MIDI I set some lfo to modulate any FX parameter like cut off freq in filters...them when I later bounce my MIDi patch to WAV it sounds diferent.. ??!!
why is this ? maybe I need to bounce a bigger bar ? how its done in FL5 ??

I wish the subject on this thread was a different title. maybe something like EYB - Read this!! ;P
I've been wondering the same thing for a while also. Been putting off exploring the panel setup, I thought I ran across some MFX plugin that was capable of doing that but I'm looking for essentialy the same thing. Many times drawing the sine can get monotonous with the shift->ctrl->shift->alt stuff.

Yeah, just use the line/sine/triange/parabola tool on the parameter you want to automate.

work bad.. very bad..
cubase fail to give me the answers for that subject.. sine is hardly lfo that got the most simple options.. with fruity i make lfo from low point to higher with change at the begin in X16 sync and "soft" lfo and end with X2 sync maximum power with exact intervals .. that option i could not find as hard as i try.. answer to this will be nice..  baisicly.. its one of the biggest victory of fruity vs cubase war.. fruity sure win that battle.. but the war aint over yet haha
p/s fruity is the best vsti someone can ask for cubase.. and work on cubase ebgine as well when work that way so no "sound quality loss" (tho i still say its the biggest bullcrap i heard, in my computer its all work on the creamware asio engine and sound exacly the same - just that fruity real time working quality is less then export quality unless can afford huge cpu resorce - after 5 trax in cubase the best sound i got is still on fruity track - and when opened it throu cubase still sound exacly the same)

cubase doesnt support what u v asked.
sx customer support told me crack thigns that didnt work.
when bouncing midi to wav bigger bar yes.
also cubase sometimes finds it dificult to "read" all functions so leave a great bar space in beggining of each treack.
i wish sx had a function like hyperdraw (logic).

i actually feel that ubase solved it better. U can use different tools in the cc-lanes of cubase. example: U can make sweeps that start gently and end sharp or vice versa with 2 of those tools, just by dragging from the start of the sweep till the end of the sweep, the pencil is not the only tool in cubase to draw automation... |
