hmmm, i think you are asking if there are any artists producing minimal trance here in north america?

and if that is indeed your question, i'm sorry to say, that i dont really know of anyone. most all the people producing are pretty fullon (Penta, ghreg on earth, fractal cowboys, deeper in zen, that's all i cna think of off the top of my head. no offense to those i've surely forgotten), or neo full-on (Jirah). um there's a group in portland called the cockblockers and they have a more progressive psy sound, but they arent released anywhere yet.
oh, and Psykoid down in LA are very funky.

i dont really know much about the east coast scene.

geez, i dont know shit, why'd i even respond?...
oh yeah, so that someone who does know might give me some answers too

Lookout for Polarlight recordings, who with their recent release Soul Reflection are reflecting the morning more proggy side of things of the East Coast. Great great compilation btw.           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

New York's Omnitribe and Elektrolust productions.

proggy and minimal sound seems to be quite popular around the city. just look at the line-up for the Omnidance party.

(minimal to prog in nyc) i know INFLUX have been producing, SHAI K.I.D have been producing, but i am not sure when will be the releasing... and i am sure some other artists have been very busy and productive and of course resulting the creative pieces. but if the question about the furute of minimal trance in north america (i can only answer in my nyorker's view), yes it has a great future actually because there is a moments that you have to rest your gentle muscles, bones and minds from the constant intence phisical and mind trips down into a certain levels on "their" confort stage such progressive, down-temo or chillouts. I am my self are concentrade of producing TOTAL CHILL, the chillout with no beats at all, very challanging to find the confortable trademark, but at least i (wish) would be able to massage "them" with sound. (afternoon outdoor party after long nights and days of full on and progressive dance ritual will be the best moment while you laying down on the nature surface and just let the sunbeams passing the tree leafs toward your forehead and spreads that sound vibration and fracting lights into your mayatik appearance. ...oh well new york only have a very short summer time, thats will be another challange but sometimes all spaces could be a temple in a single click i guess or i am note sure.

Well SHIKID did actually release 2 tracks under the name BRAZIL (I think it was with someone else too) on the new Polarlight Recordings compilation mentioned earlier. (ie. Soul Reflection)           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

Brazil is SHIKiD with Oscimon, who also has a track on the compilation. Oscimon writes both progressive and full-on psy. He is also releasing a jazzy chill-out CD on, rumors tell me, Ninja Tune. Watch out for this guy.

Check out Waterjuice. Its downtempo trance-funk/breaks. Thats the best I can come up with. Not really minimal trance but good stuff!

Cheers
