Does it reflect general moods, music preferences, developing directions of psy people and the scene throughout the world? Is it a kind of international concentrate or just random social gathering? What do you think?

I would say yes to a certain degree but not that isratrance represents the whole scene but a bit like a microcosmos of a makrocosmos. |

nice topic
In my opinion, NO.... Isratrance is merely a small proportion of the psytrance community. It is a GREAT networking forum / community for like minded people to share ideas, music, thoughts, production techniques, party reviews, general awareness of parties and a small showcase of new talent... and more....
(Just my opinion)

is an international social gathering for like minded people to share ideas, music, thoughts, production techniques, party reviews, general awareness of parties and a small showcase of new talent. also is a very good place to feed your ego and prove to your self that you kick ass indeed, or fight with other users for important reasons such as psy or techno, dark or bright, yes or no etc.
it a affects in a way, yes. something, is always more than nothing |

musicwise, a lot of diversity is represented with a few people that know what they are talkin bout from different sides of the spectrum

On isratrance, everybody is talking about dark music, and stuff like "full on is dead"... but on the parties dance floors, 90 % of the music is full on and progressive ! So...what's the conclusion ???

You are talking about consumers. Do you think the same is true for producers? I would guess that most active producers of psy trance are at least registered here. What's your assessment? |

Absolutely not. No trance forum is representative of the greater culture. One clear and undeniable example: look at the male to female ratio around here. Now consider the parties you go to. Enough said.

I would say no too,I guess probably more of djs than artists, probably all labels and maybe 1% of people listening to psytrance are members here.
Lots of good artists are not writing here and lots of still active artists are not even members here.
