Hey,
Does anyone uses Cubase SX on a Mac?
Can I use standard Cubase SX plugins in other applicaton that supports VST technology?
Thanks in advance.
Peace

Yes I do.
The standard Cubase plugins can not be used by other software. Even if you have SE and SX in the same machine Cubase wont "share" the standard VSTs....it means you wont be able to use A1 (from SX) into SE.
This is what I know about it... If anyone knows any possibilities please tell us.

Thanks icodon.
I will keep searching this information.
I use Digital Performer 4.6 with VST wrapper.
If anyone else has the same setup, please share your knowlege. I am trying to get VB-1, QuadraFuzz, etc to work within Digital Performer under VST wrapper.
Please help.
Peace...

some of the cubase vsts work in ableton & logic etc...
rightclick on the cubase application & "show package contents", find the vst plugins folder inside the package & copy the vsts you want to your home vst folder... cross your fingers & see which ones load up in your host app...
love & light

from my testing experiences
Sx3 works pretty well on the Mac
and even better on the Quad than Logic !!!
you can extract the vst's using the method of Ajja
got vb1 working in logic that way using vst to Au
works also in live and in any other sequencer supporting vst i guess
