Hello all,
I'm pretty sure a lot of you must be members of, or atleast aware of, the other big psytrance site online, http://psynews.org. For inexplicable reasons, I find that site much more interesting and informative than this one. Another interesting thing I find is that the artists and albums that people on here find KILLAAAHH and what not are the artistes that these guys despise the most.

Almost everytime I browse that site, I feel like the guys out there are talking about some different kind of music! Does anyone else around feel the same or is it just me?

I'm also quite active there, and think it's a fine forum. There's the same annoying "WHATS THE BEST PSYTRANCE GOA TRACK FOR YOU??!?!?" threads as here though, and I think the users there are a bit more focused on the old goa sound than here.
The discussions there are mainly focused around old melodic acts like Pleiadians, while the topics here are perhaps more focused around GMS, Infected Mushroom and Astrix. But hey, that's just me making harsh generalizations
I'm a happy user of both forums

well at least we don't talk about that forum in negative manner, while there i meet a lot of sentences which disrespects everything going here.

Exactly my point, when we're all talking about the same style of music, why do people there have so much hatred against most Israeli artistes?
Agree with Profane, most people there are old schoolers, maybe thats one reason why that forum seems so much more informative. No disrespect to any of these 2 forums whatsoever, I too am a very happy member of both

I am also user in both forums and I appreciate them in different ways.
In Psynews I like the offtopic section a lot, because I find it boring to only talk about music and enjoy discussing other issues of life with my fellow tranceheads. I also like the "loose" moderation (maybe because of my slightly anarchistic nature).
Here in Isratrance you can find more information about a greater number of artists, equipment and so on, what is mostly due to bigger number of users I guess.
One other big difference I notice is that here the label people, DJs and artists promote and hype each other bigtime and there are a lot of "fan" type people, that find everything "killah" what their "idols" tell them is great. In psynews promotional threats usually drop down very fast and the discussions about music seem more "intellectual", whereas Isratrance is imo much more comercial orientated.
All in all both forums have their pros and cons and I am happy visiting here and there and back again

Psynews is just an ok forum,the fact that before some time it was closed down because of insulting users that spammed the forum says a lot,people that dont like moderation just go there and say their thing...
