Maybe u should try the last version of Ableton Live, wich seems to handle this "time strecht without pitch shift". Its kind of a new complex warp mode, but I´ve never used this version of Live.
If it´s ok, tell us!

here is another one:
try to find someone who uses ableton live ! then bring your track to him in the best quality you can do. start a live project, load in your stuff on an audio track...
you now can determine the bpm of your tracks and i'm sure you'll know them because you made the track
live may not get the 100% right amount of your beats that's why you have to correct it yourself. now change the host tempo, mark the song with the loopmarkers (as in cubase, or logic or whatever) and export again...
if you don't go from 120beat to 140 beats this will work. but too much difference will leave some artefacts...
if you have someone using live he'll know some tricks to get the result out of it !!!
ps. if you don't know anyone, maybe i can help you if still necessary !

I know! I said it was a "NEW complex warp mode".
Btw, I´m not satisfied by the complex mode at Live 7. I still use only repitch mode for stretching full tracks when doing live. HOw´s the version 8?

ah yeah...okay
i never tried the live 8 version ! but it has some nice features i'd like to have in live 7
nothing fundamental changed, but they have another warping view, i'd say a better timeline that is easier to understand. some new machines, finally a pure little limiter...
when you prelisten, you now have a timeline to switch into longer samples...you can edit a lot of designparts (the look of live) and there is one really amazing thing !
there will be a feature in the next weeks that is called "max for live"...and then users (with the interest and the knowledge) can create whole new features and machines...this can lead to very suprising *hehe* suprises
you can search for max for live videos online !

you can even just download the demo...the first 14 days its free of charge and fully usable..just need to be connected to the internet, and after that , you got a fully working demo just without saving..if you want to save thigs then, you would need to record your system bus..or maybe you can just render out of live, dont know if its kinda limited in demo mode..
cheers

Indeed the features for Live 8 are very promising. About this new warp view, I guess it´s like Cubase´s "Time Warp"(where u change the wav instead of the timeline).
I will test this 8 version soon, but it would be nice if anyone could point me if the new warp modes CAN change the tempo without changing the pitch, and without the common artifacts, like granular sounds and pumping effect. That´s what they(from Ableton) claim that this version can do. Although earlier version were supposed to do this also, but can´t do it.
