So have any peeps here used this or own one? I am not quiet ready I realize to dive in deep and build a modular, so for the price I thought this would be a good entry point to semi-modular this year.
I'm currently back to producing dark/forest/glitchy psy as well as exploring the older techno trance sounds, and enjoying at night some drone ambient projects.
As I'm currently saving up for new monitors & a really good 61 key midi keyboard I only have a small amount left to spend on a synth this year ($800AUD max.)
It's either this or a well built X0XB0X.

dirty. the lfo bleeds into the audio stream, the envelopes are sluggish and the whole machine isn't the smoothest thing in the world.
i use it as a midi2cv source and as an lfo and envelope for other things at the moment.
get the vermona mono-lancet and a modular dock, better investment imo.

Played with the Dark Energy I, it's a drone and sub-bass fantasy, fat liquid sound. Not sure how the new oscillators effect the whole setup in II.

Interesting to know. I'll check the mono lancet out at my local shop later this week, they have a demo model. Yeah I regret not getting the Dark Energy 1. My other alternative is to get a 6u rack & build around the e350 module (http://equinoxoz.com/shop/e350-morphing-terrarium/)
Not sure what'd work though.

i like the sound , but if lfo bleed and it s audible that sux .. i would get the one second hand over the the 2 i think.. |
