Seems like he was one of the better goa dj's .. good track selection , not so good dj skillz. i think its the track selection which matters in goa, for me atleast to judge who's a good dj and who isnt . I would hate to hear a dj mixing lousy music well.

Yes Doctor Vagator was one of the veterans in the goa scene. Pretty known name years back. My friends did a party with him in 2002/03 in Mangalore, India. though it was a low turnout... he did play somereal good stuff. Not too great on the skill side... but yes good track selection. ANd from him i got to hear some of Ocelots first ever promo cds.

DR. Vagator goes way back and used to play at a lot of parties. He is a very trippy elf and will play extremly good music if his elvish personality so wishes-- but sometimes his mind is just doing other things and synth knobes take on a different meaning with him-- he is one of most free and trippy spirits I have known. |

I know very well Doctor Vagator,im the first person who untroduce him in Goa.Im Swiss and this time im living in Goa playing music whit my friend Andy(Tuufan)so.
Doctor Vagator are very nice person,very interesting but for Dj is the most horrible one i know. |

I am reading it,but I already know the idiots,whom,without even knowing me ,or ever listened to my set,have some antipatic relations with me ( I think ,cause of my crytics of some bad-produced dark trance),so they use anychance to spoil my name.This MK guy is just one of these dudes,let it be.I dont give a F.,honestly.
What about the SUBJ,Doctor Vagator is french fluorescent freak,name Francis-generally nice guy,but,here I have to agree with MK dude,one of the most horrible tripbreaking djs I ve ever heard.
He started to play ,I think 1999,and tried to do it eveywhere anytime,so after couple of years,people mostly hated him allover Goa,so in 2003 or 2004 hefinished to play,and after sometime dissapeared.
No news about him lately |
