mmm... Hard to say anything constructive... but i just wanted you to know that i read ALL this bullcrap!
Whatever Spook is doing for these artists (or himself) - they dont seem to like it....
Its totally insulting not to recieve a cd after the release, especially when the guy responsible for sending it .... is still alive... think about for a second.... You release a track - but you have to go and buy the cd yourself ?
C'mon dont expect the artists to take this lightly, personally it makes my piss boil !
One more thing.... the reason why you claim that your crap videos represent more value than the music , is because ***t*ac*s like you DONT PUT VALUE into the music.... Now this forum wouldnt exsist, and we wouldnt be talking about this thing if it wasnt for this exact music. DISRESPECTFULL....

I just stayed with spook over the weekend I was stranded in SF he picked me up in his as meta accurately put it old toyota with smashed in door and took me to his rather nice house which by the way is paid for by all the roomates split many ways (san fran is expensive no matter were you are). I saw his basement studio that was spoken of not much more than most people have going. Mostly older equipment. He made me dinner n breakfast and gave me a place to sleep. I didnt have to bring up digital drugs he offered me payment in geo cd's Even though the actual money would be more useful to me at this time I will make out better with the cd's. For spook like said before just communictae better the main thing that raises question marks for people is when you just dissappear. I know you have alot of email constantly and im sure alot are repetitous but just reply no matter what. Im sure we wouldnt mind waiting if you were explaining how you were trying to make it up or your plans for repayment etc. With Anomalistic Behaviors he did the dissappearing thing untill I was at the point of freaking out about this deadline to get them done so I went to DIY mode then at the last possible second he & random swooped in and helped me bust it out in record time. It was roughly like 3 weeks for a double disc. So although some communication issues are there all in all my experience hasnt been horrible I wouldnt say ive been ripped off or anything but given the history I am understandably skeptical about doing future business with geo.
I think the only way to redeem yourself spook is to just finish paying who you owe and start over paying for a release up front. That way there can be no questions about if someone will get paid. Regardless of what is or isnt true your rep is gonna be pretty tarnished for alot of people.
Coming from an ex junkie its always possible to change your reputation for the better.

as i said i agreed to this as half payment so i have no complains atm , but also not see myself keep working like this.. it was fun giving presents to friends but im trying to have a life here...

well get it into your heads or simply read the topic before post 
you cant make the BEST music possible out of yourself + having lots of gigs + having a day job.
just cant happen.
make the music takes time and gigs take preperation and also alot of expensive equipment needed for both production and live show.
sure , i could keep work in a day job and make 1 track in 2 months , or keep the way i do now and make about track a week . that album VS track.
if u realy love the music dont try to re-arrange the world , just buy the cd's instead download crap mp3 and vote with your legs on the dancefloor.
its not like we asking for milions or even thousands  . only to be able to finish the month like decent peaple who others appriciate their work.
and peaple do , realese it or download.. but simply dont wanna pay
also - Shamanfilms records (spook old partner i believe)
take a track from us and not paying or sending the realese...
also for honest sake will have to mention here labels like - parvati , free radical , vertigo , that from personal expirience pay on time and as agreed. and also send you the realese! yeapi

Yes i agree, it just CANT happen.
But you dont seem to adress the problem that i mentioned , the downloading. the problem is ageold but that is where it all starts.
If people would not or could not download then everyone would buy cd's, no?
They have an option, they will download the music, they will download crappy mp3's and dowload converters to turn crappy mp3's into good sounding wav's.
I am NOT supporting downloading, but all i am trying to say out of my "little" head is that until there is a solution to THIS problem, the fact that so many others just like this in just the same situations will come ahead and portray themselves as gullible, when infact they all know this to begin with.
Buying a cd is money, downloading is free, and when you cant trust more than half the labels, and they are labeled as money hungry leeches,then just how can u trust an average electronic music listener not to get tempted?
So drunk i can brarely spell. |

sorry , impossible. u dont have a clue about digital sound formats do u ?
you can convert the file to be bigger with .wav end but... defintly not more quality. still lame compressed mp. usualy with realy shity encoding to begin with. i notice HUGE diffrence , and i rather my originals and true .wav files.
and again , if cd's not sale anymore u can damm well expect i raise the live price to double cause peaple sure pay for gigs. and i get alot of gigs it meen peaple love it and have fun! so all i ask is to be able to make it to the show not hungry!
also good idea for labels : make the cd worth more then the cd. include 2 stickers inside and dj sleeve and may be more if u have ideas so peaple cant replace it with mp3 download.

First of all Spook, the reason why I fired Lawrence Paradigm, was because he fucked up many things, of which most annoying was that I could never ever count on his word, not with anything at all. He was always to late with whatever he promised and that led to a lot of unnecessary annoyance between us. It went so far that in the end he left me with open bills on a compilation HE wanted to pay for, to promote his own name as a dj…remember? Another reason was that in the end I was doing all the work for his compilation, I compiled all the tracks, all he did was say “yes” or “no” to the tunes I managed to gather and sent to him. I fixed the design, tunes and everything on it and at some point I was simply done with his lame-ass attitude. He always had excuses (work, girlfriend, no money (does that sound familiar to you somehow?) and so on) for which I had quite some patience but in the end it’s impossible to work with people who always have excuses and never do what’s needed and promised…it’s disrespectful and unprofessional on top of it.
Second to that, you have NEVER sent me an e-mail with any official sales-numbers, the only thing you sent me was a lousy notepad file with some numbers you put on it, no official sales from Saikosounds, Psyshop or any other mail-order company that sold our Mind Funk compilation ever came to me at all !

So basically even after you were paid for your comp... I went into several large debts because of your recommendation. I guess you were right... Karma works perfect. No good deed goes unpunished.
But it was my fault for trusting you. So the responsibility lies on my shoulders.

Dude, this is pathetic to be honest. I’m sorry that things between you and Mars (Acidance) and Thomas (Psytropic) didn’t work out. I trusted those 2 guys also and with last I had little to do, but with 1st I was as close as it gets, like brothers are and also I got fucked majorly by Mars, something you seem to forget so easily (probably ‘cause it comes in handy). I was Acidance label-dj on top of it and all I got was shite from Mars, so don’t you blame me for other people sticking a knife in your back, I can not and never will be responsible for the deeds of other people, no matter how hard you try to blame that on me, take some responsibility for yourself man and stop acting like a 10 year old here…it might actually solve your problems some day ! (It surely helped me a lot lately) On top of that u try to make it sound like Lawrence Chromatone got screwed by me, while he didn’t send any cd to Mars at all….what really happened is that YOU sent HIS cd’s to Mars, and now try to make me look like the bad guy who made you do that. I understand that my advice was part of your decision, but that doesn’t mean I’m responsible for the fact that Mars screwed you (and me) and Lawrence, I simply had nothing to do with that so I suggest you drop your childish and manipulative games here and to be a man that stand for his OWN responsibilities for once in your life!

Sorry once more dude, but eh….ain’t it time to wake up and stop playing the poor victim in a rude and cruel world? GET A JOB….or drop the label would be the advise here !!! We all have to get a job at the moment we can’t pay the bills without anymore. The fact that you refuse this under the motto “I don’t wanna be part of the Matrix” (yes, I know you a bit and remember phrases like this coming out of your mouth, ‘cause they used to be mine for long as well) or whatever excuse you have is NO reason to screw other people who work hard for their bucks. It’s simply not fair to all those musicians and artists that are NOT being paid because you refuse to get off your butt to some money yourself ! Also I can’t live of my dj-ing (no more) and am getting a new job. We got responsibilities to pay to ourselves and to those we love, that simply means we can’t sit on our ass no more and just play victim and point fingers at the cruel world around us 24/7. I did that for a long time too (till very recently I have to admit), but all it ever got me was shit…..so please man, open your eyes, you’re a good guy in your heart, you have great vision and amazing plans, and I’d personally love to see those plans materialize in the 3D world. Don’t you think it’s time that beauty comes out and that it’s time to manifest it, instead of hiding behind lame excuses all the time?

If ANY ONE bothered to read the agreement... the contracts says USUALLY pay with in 90 days of release date. Well... that is exactly what I promised... MAYBE I would have the money in time... well about 30% of the time I did (self funded 80% of the releases as they didn’t even cover their own costs...)
So what can I say? I am trying my best. Geomagnetic has accomplished a lot in a short time and with the help and love of the artists that are on the label.
Anyone who thinks that it’s all roses and perfume should get a new reality and realize we are all independent folks working together to create something new.
If I had to do this with all investment $ I wouldn’t have been able to do this at all. So my investors are the artists and they get paid when there is $. If there is no $ than they have to wait... Can’t squeeze water(or blood) from a rock can you?
so...be patient, your $ is coming.
