¿Do you want minimal in the psytrance main floors?

Minimal sounds are being in the last years more commons in the psytrance dance floors, ¿do you want to keep it in the main floors or do you prefer to listen it in the alternatives areas? |

Both minimal and darkpsy...and add full on to that, are not for the main psy trance floor.
Having said that, I would definitely go to the techno stage for a warm up whiggle.

i want that suckers music out! of the psytrance dance floors around the world, its sucks, so its not minimal its a f+++ pretentious hybrid. its infecting the psy escene whit ridicolous snob boring sounds. |

there is a lot of minimal which is definetlely more psycehedelic than most full on ,'dark psy ' and even progressive music these ...
and this should be played on the main floor..(at the right time slot though)
i think any sort of music that is psychdelic should have a slot on the main floor ..including minimal..

ok friend, but we don´t have to confuse, is true that we can find the spiritually in all kind of forms in the live (including the minimal dancing) beeing happy and loving the others, but IS NOT THE SAME THAN THE PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE (not the music style but the mind state), this kind of trance is different, is the perfect mix beetwen SYNTHETIC&ACID SOUNDS and the psychedelic substances, is something different... |

Agree on every point, and I love techno that is psychedelic and driving, but that is my self. I am aware of the feelings of many people towards techno, I also passionately dislike darkpsy and full on.
The music is so segregated right now and there will be some whining and some bitching on a dancefloor that is filled with so many "open minded" and spiritually correct" people, called trancers.
So I would keep all acts and DJs who have distanced them selves from psychedelic trance, in different stages.
I really miss the days where a party was one long continous journey, cohesive and consistent...
nowdays its people with their own style playing music, not caring what the guy before them is playing...some darkpsy dude will pop on the decks and think, I'm gonna oblitarate the guy before with my crazy tempo adn walls of noise...or some other dude is gonna go on a peak time morning slot and go from 144 to 134 with shitloads of clicks and white noise trigger, techno music.
Again, a promoter that has thought about the timetable (especially live sets) well, or more consious DJs with a wider range of tunes, from their niche subgenre, help prevent this...but both promoters and DJs of that kind, are lacking.

agree with every single word DH...
diversity is good, but maintaining the flow of a party/festival is much more important imo...
i will not forget boom in that manner - after a crazy psychedelic sunrise/morning - a dj comes and just leaves no remanants of the crazy vibes that were going and just turns the party down pretty much... |
