i've done that "double delay stuff".. with some setting you get something as reverb but denser           roll a joint or STFU :)

yeah thats a fun trick.

I like it because its an 'evolving delay'

The sound hits, then the first delay pattern, then a bit later (if you set it that way) a spin-off pattern from the first delay pattern b/c you're delaying the delays.

eh, there are probably plugsin that do this within the plugin now.....okay does anyone know if this is the case?

actually, i rarely use reverb at all. it takes the "edge" of my sounds. i tend to use delay where others use reverb.           The IsraTrance MySpace Group:

Well rob, there is a double delay plugin, but you can also use ohmboyz for that as well... turn up your feedback....           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

yeah, but two logic stereo delays is a lot less 'heavy' then one ohmboyz! don't get me wrong though, ohmboyz is the bomb.

Interesting... of course the logic delays will be less cpu intensive... for me the logic delays dampen the sound a little bit too much for me most of the time...

I wish there was a better filter in Logic though... I've never understood how to use it properly and I find that some of the 3rd party filters are a little too hungry most of the time. I just got Frohmage though, so I will try using that..           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

is there a simple/cheap way to produce that double delay effect with hardware? i dont have the money to buy two hardware units, so is there a single unit that will do it? i really like hardware delays, they cant be beat.           The IsraTrance MySpace Group:

oh just buy one Eventide box

it'll do anything (i'm talking DSP series and above...); its programmable to to the point of being able to design your own programs from scratch.

I put the smiley there b/c Eventides are not cheap, but i'd say if can afford one of their processors just go run and buy one. They are so freaking amazing. I had use of one for a few months in a friends studio, we bounced EVERYTHING through it, even just for compression.

that box is the 'secret weapon' of many incl. the Pos-man.

the Eclipse is a bit more affordable, but i don't know if it allows the MAX/MSP/Reaktor level programming that their higher end boxes do.

i noticed the price on eBay. i was a bit thrown back. a bit more than im willing to spend, but the stats and info look very interesting. im a fan of reaktor, even tho im not very good at it, so im interesting in this thing.

ill just have to think of a "plan B."           The IsraTrance MySpace Group:
