I don't play entire finished tracks live. I make multitrack stems of all the different sounds, cut them all up, and play the loops in a giant sample mash-up. Add MIDI instruments and a couple of controllers, and I'm good to go.

Mastering at least 7 multitrack stems of individual, isolated sounds from all of my tracks would take forever and cost a lot, not to mentioned a mastered wav of an individual synth doesn't take the frequencies of whatever sonic neighbor it may end up with in a live set into account.

If your basic production is good, the individual stems will be as mastered as you ever want them to be. Sonnox Inflator (+2dB, 100% effect, Clip off) and Limiter (+2dB, max Attack, Auto off, 10% Enhance) on the master output will get your levels up there. Note - this chain won't magically compensate for your dodgy studio room sucking up all your bass. Garbage in = louder garbage out...           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
