no, i use rebirth if i want the tr-909...

And yes, i think it's overused, but the typical psykick is a tr-909-like kick, so i don't feel that u shouldn't use it...

I assume most people here have the 909/808 perc pack that was linked somewhere on Isratrance a while back.
"* it's not the tools but what you do with them." So true; I find the samples a bit rough when untamed with EQ, but after eqing the hell out of them you can produce a myriad of different sounds with a single hat.

Manuel TR-808 is a legend too,

Juno-106 (I love mine)
