its a good idea to learn the stuff when you are ready for them, as i think you might mean with "come to that by yourself" or did you mean something else?

articles are very nice... i read much and sometimes less.. (somethings needs to mature)
lots of inspiration and explaination..
but you dont learn the stuff good until you do them, so reading is one form and practise is another...

its good to print articles and techniques... and read while trying out....
its a good way for me at least

i will be studying alot in some weeks on my own.. just need to sort out my surroundings haha..
i havent set a date yet. hehe
First of march i think is a good date!

I read em at times, yes. Some of em, both tutorials as well as general articles, has for sure increased my understanding for what's going on in the production process and the studio environment...

More tutorials whom you might get some ideas from: http://www.computermusic.co.uk/tutorial/features.asp

I sometimes read them, and if they're good i print and bundle them. But on average i think the information i get from articles is a bit too fragmented. And after a while you'll find that articles repeat the same stuff over and over again. IMHO it's better to buy some good textbooks and consult those as references. Then you have all the information nicely organized so you can find it when you need it.

and "Rhythm Programming" by Mark Roberts..
and some other books on mixing and mastering...
