Do you produce through sessions or constantly?

Hi freaks, so this has been on my mind lately. I don't have a "per say" studio to make music but i have enough to please my ears.
Thing is that i would like very much of having a studio, and on top of that the studio could be on a different building than my home (Just to be far from home). Now i know some of you do have these "studios" but i also know that a lot of guys out there do not have something to be called a producing studio.
My question is, do you produce through studio sessions (where you have a certain number of hours per day/week) and you only make music and think of music producing while you're at the studio? Or, do you have some division in your home that can be called a studio and your music is only a few steps away of being created?.
Of course, there's the abstract way of thinking about this, i mean, we all think of music making all the time, it's there, in our minds.
I truly hope you won't find this a silly question, it's just that i'm very curious about this subject. (I also know that having a studio is a lot better then not having one)

roughly 4 hours every day man.
never a single break, and nothing as wonderful as a blank canvas.
Edit:
Except a perfectly filled one http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

Thats a lotta bud.
In answer to the topic: YES, constantly and through sessions, sometimes the beast leaps upon me and sometimes it takes some work to find it in the jungle and needs to be handled carefully, soothing it, before cutting off its head and mounting it above the computer.
Idk its hard to think fo it in words, cuz pretty much all my waking minutes are spent in one way or anohter with some part of my thoughts on music. I never thought about it in words til now So my studio is wherever I happen to be at the moment.

Ok that greenball post can be deleted I'd say.. Thanks bud. nice addition to the topic ...
I have a room in my house where I made a 'studio'. So one space just for making music. That works best for me. Making music doesnt work if you only have specific hours in the week. At least not for me. A friend of mine has a dedicated studio where he needs to go to do music. Very nice. but in the end he makes less music because it is inconvenient to go there all the time you feel like making music.
Sessions or one long time?
It depends on the time I have on my hands. Sometimes I have the time to work all day. Let's say from 12 till 00. but sometimes it is only an hour or two in the evening.

Music is a little like going to the toilet, or eating food.
Its fully needed to survive the everyday life.

I think the worst problem when u don't take breaks, is that it's harder to delete bad riffs or give up sections, though when u are more experienced producer then the giving up becomes easier. |

man you re right about when making music in a dedicated studio , you think only to sound production... you know you re there all days for production and can fully concentrate to it , i m way more productive like this. also it s better for creative energy, staying all days at home producing, or in your bedroom nothing better to kill creativity and regenerating creative energy very slowly. |

Well i guess having a studio is like being only focused on music when you're there. I don't have one right now, or the proper equipment, but i have no problem in getting away from the rest of the world and.. Just get into trance mode!
