Do you prefer sounds that are organic or electronic?
When i say organic i mean like ,guitar, piano,,flute, cello etc
And with electronic i mean sounds from software synths with FX etc ,created in computers in all sorts of ways and not from organic instruments.
Myself i like both and i also like when mixing them with each other, but i think that electronic created sounds draws a little longer straw for me.I think it sounds better most of the time and i see more alternatives there, more ways of creating sounds and i often find these sounds to be more deep and unique. In other words i like electronic created sounds a bit more.

it depends, I love electronic sounds since very little (my first cd was one of Jean Michelle Jarre).
But I also love the sound of an orchestra, a band of drums etc.
In the end what I love more is experimentation between both.
"The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

I like electronic and organic sounds having really sloppy sex with each other, without protection.

i was listening a lot to this piece these days. really a lot. one time after the other.
too much potential for crying in my heart.
organic sound is more emotional. but at one point it is better to change to electronic after so much cry.
what is gone is gone forever

I like melodic tones, whether they be electronically generated or organic.
I prefer them to weird scratchy fissfissfiss noises like some people seem to like.

I have to admit that when i see those words close to each other,
it immediately jumps in my mind the Flooting Grooves project,
Dymons and Cosmosophy.
In the last 2/3 years there's nothing more satisfying that the music i've heard from them.
Another good example could come from Master Margherita and
the Peaking Goddes family,
but we're not far from the examples done above.
So, i vote for something inbetween.. electronic without the organic touch doesn't really satisfy me..
I like to think about musician composing their tunes playing some instruments
rather than clicking programs (even though there are many magicians!)

Exactly!! The 'organic' sounds I heard in psytrance is what drew me to it.
For some music, nothing beats the sound of breath through a sax, or the sound of brushes on a snare and ride.
Just as for some music nothing beats the sound of an electronic kick drum and synth bass.
But good electronic musicians can be awesome at creating 'organic' sounds (Outolintu is a great example).
So I have no preference. It's how and what they're crafted and played that matters.
