I like to stomp while reading texts on cosmology and environmental sciences. I also bring my graphing calculator to festivals incase I run into some major calculations. Thankfully 4G exists so I can readily get to the internet mid stomp and pull up wikipedia.

I think the better question is what do you feel like on the dancefloor?
To answer the question yes i do feel kinda sad when i see people moving like zombies as if they were doing a chore for a dance. some people really need to put some life into their dance, and ironically i see this more in the psytrance scene where the music is naturally dance inducing than in hip-hop where the people are really into the music and make it seem more interesting and dancy than it is.
Anybody else noticed this?

yea with BPMs exceeding 160s with a 4X4 structure you tend to dance like a Zombie 
I also dont enjoy seeing people dancing like Zombies.... but i dont feel kinda sad!

Yeah, when I take a trip and trance dance I can feel pretty sad sometimes. Also because of personal circumstances I can get melancholic when dancing if I've smoked some weed (think too much about stuff) and/or alcohol (makes everything seem more dramatic than it really is).
Personal circumstances, like running into your insano ex-girlfriend or seeing that the people that introduced you to the really underground part of the scene have ground yet another half centimeter of one side of their jaw into paste because they're still doing MDMA every week after 5 years.
I also remember many many parties where I was tripping on the dancefloor and was just bored out of my skull: only the same people there who go to EVERY party, the DJ plays only the same-sounding formulaic progressive/full-on/dark tracks and also trainwrecks every other mix...
I do get ticked off though... when yet another person starts with the 2012 stuff (yeah, keep telling yourself and others that the world is going to end soon so it doesn't matter if you do tons of drugs all day long and party 24/7). Or when someone goes rattling off their conspiracy stories that they have told so many people that it's become true in their head.
I don't get sad or angry or bored that much anymore, because "the scene" isn't a big part of my life anymore. |

i try not to think much of whats outside the party when im dancing.. when im dancing, only the ppl there, the music, de dancefloor and the sky matters

yes, I have experienced several times for example when you are in a good party and suddenly it's time for plays infected mushroom  or when the day of a party starts to sound minimal techno, or when you discover that dj Edoardo, Christoff and others are putting tech house, minimal techno and progressive, is very very sad. |
