I am trying to play some piano with steinberg the grand with my Nord Lead keyboard, but it seems like I need to hit the keys with a hammer in order to get a decent volume out of that damn thing. I quite fixed it by changing the velocity curve. I am wondering if anyone else has similar problems, or is it because I have bought a used Nord Lead and it is worn off. |

sorry but is it not a matter of expression or after touch and velocity that might just need some tweaking or maybe even the attack?

With the regular non-weighted keyboard such as nordleads (good nevertheless) - it's hard to play the reaslitic preset. You need to change velocity settings since they are set for the big heavy keys.
