as much as i know that is suposed to be called a live concert not live set i dont understand why ure reaction do u think artists who does not like guitars and all those bla bla sounds would add it in their live`s so people could say they were doing a real live act hehehe some threads here really are the best to make anyone have a laugh ah ah ah aahh ahhh

sorry but..
first-i really didnt like the music in the videos..guitars are boring(usually) and all in all it sounds regular.
second-i really dont get paid enough to bring 4-6 band members.
third-sometimes less is more.

Its amazing how much one can do with todays technology. I dont understand on every decent party why there is a nordlead on the scene. Like anyone actually use it (Except Erez Eizen) but pretending. Thats old.

merv (eat static) is a living proof that its all about how good you know your gear (and one of those few well known artists who carry their equip with them) and such a joy to watch playing on stage .

everyone complains about Lip Syncing yet they will attend concerts...this is no different...events are like that only...some fake some original...yes you want to complain about it..but thats not going to change...being lazy is not a crime.

yes thats it...
i was amazed once by this 'live' stuff untill i relized texas faggott/neuron compose/haltya or any artist i like even from winamp sounds better then reflections , or sun project yeah.. or any infamous ableton live maniacs. maybe its not more live but its better for the party. unless people listen with their eyes. (eye-phones?)
also , i want to see metallica preformed by 1-2 people lolz , that wont work. but hey i could even do metallica more live that i can do my music own cause i can play guitar and drums.. its just doesnt fit to my trance music. have preformed dozens of times on stage and for my psy thats as live as it can be without losing quality. sure i can trigger loops and play guitar but it wont sound like sattel battle at all.. there is no guitar and loop triggering makes it sound all old and goa-ish.
(what i do is mixing ready tracks and adding loops and sounds on top of them in parts i prepared in advance to be 'empty' - and i can do it with cds and synth and its still more live then fake spacebar live)
and third - WHAT IS DJ SET THEN ????
cause as far i remember playing your ORIGINAL music for ENTIRE 2 hours and change loops and sounds and add synth lines isnt exacly dj set right?

watch computer geeks being eaten "LIVE" by an ocelot...
and i will not spare the horsradish or lemon juice or salt either, which i have heard stings open wounds mercilessly...
yes this thread goes into the pile of other ones on this topic.
i tend to think each one was a stage for a chest thumper...
one observation- i noticed many people who have lame music also have lame live acts and so they may feel the need to wear the viking helmet and twiddle their wand a bit but be assured they practiced those moves in front of a mirror so its more like "rehearsed" than live i assure you... i twiddle my wand live...twiddle your wand live... twiddle your wand like no one is watching... |

True! Just to add, the nordlead on its own could be used to make live music... 4 slots is sometimes enough to make something cool and if you sync them all to the arp you got instant trance..
My brother got a nordlead 3 and its Lovely! Except for its sensitive power supply..
