A bit of history - in the UK in the early 90s in the free party scene - things were often described as fluffy (eg hippies & trance & friendly) or spikey (eg Cropped hair & tekno & in your face) - though it was as much to do with the attitude at parties as the music. So you could get a fluffy techno party or spikey trance party. |

And another thing;
It's a much more pertinent question than asking about strawberry shortcake, or "dark in the morning?", or "killa infected trax at 2;55am on a sunday", or......need I continue?

This topic should get the Nobels Thread award
Track: Green Nuns of the Revolution - "Atomic Armadillo"
Sample: 'They have no word for Fluffy!'
From: Edmund Blackadder III
- Fluffy for me at least is a word used in the Norwegian language. Fluffy sveis

(Norway) Cheese .. But not that hard kind of cheese, fluffy is more that creamy cheese like ie. Philadelphia. So it's not so heavy and bad-cheesy (melody, sound) as the music you label cheesy. Little fluffy clouds. Deedrah has a lot of great fluff in his Body & Soul album to name an example. You can even find some small parts of fluff hidden in ie. psykovsky - debut album. I like small portions of fluff, not to heavy, and not to often and with the right drive and timing.
Ost in Danish (Christiania) is a warning for cops. Before it was Tankere (Tankers). They change it..

And LO!
Another thread, at first timid and and light -hearted, evolves and mutates into a many tentacled beast vomited from the depths of the collective consciousness of the archaic and indescribable isratrance community.....as foretold by the Mad Arab Alhazred in the forbidden Necronomicon.
So, we have learnt that the original sample comes from Blackadder (some uncertainty rests though on whether it's Edmond himself or Lord Flashheart who earn the royalties),and was used by Atomic Armadillo.We can now easily converse with the Dutch, impressing them with our knowledge of their language by repeating "pluizig" over and over again whilst testing their world-famous "coffee".......interspersed with the odd "fluffy sveis" for passing Norwegian tourists......or "ost" for Fraggletrollet (wherever he comes from).
May your threads all mutate before your very eyes.........

Oops! Too late to edit.....
Please note that it is not advised to try the same tactic with Hungarians, as a reliable source tells me that their words(yes, that's enough to make us all jealous; they've got SEVERAL words for it) for fluffy are completely unpronouncable, and any hapless attempt could provoke the wrath of the world destroyer....
