no. the sound is bad. the sound of the bassline and the kick. do you have reverb on the bassline? don't use reverb on the bassline. besides it you have a lot to learn so search for the "mother of all bassline topics". there is a lot of information about basslines there.
and about the kick get Bazzissm. it's good vst for kicks. |

There are not rules about reverb on bass. It can work just fine. I dont hear a reverb here though but you have a delay on the bass i find desturbing mostly because your delay keeps the lows so i makes it all very muddy.
I also think your bass patch has a very long release time and is polyphonic. Is this correct? That is often a very bad combination on fast basslines.

try bouncing the bass to audio an you will see that its waveform is totally overlapping the kick. if you want to avoid rumble you can either use sidechain compression or remove the bass delay and shorten its lenght. |
