Sandman is Itzik Levy, born 1977, Itzik started making music around the age of 13 at home with one synthesizer (Yamaha v50) and one year later, bought his first sampler and joined some bands. One of them (Orphand Land) released 2 CDs in the metal scene (Sahara, 92; El Norra Alila, 96- both in Holy Records).
this is much darker then any psytrance even if its "satan-dark killer".

Dear Tsabeat music is not only a matter of taste but a matter of other things too you know.
There are some notes,some octaves,some harmonics and many other things which combined alltogether create music.
If i take two silver cups and start hitting them together then this is not music,its noise.
Same applies for people who take a kick and a bass and add various distorted and non connected sounds on the backround.
If you want to become a pilot then you go to a pilots school.
If you want to become a mathematician then you go to a mathematics university.
The same way if you want to become a musician you take music courses and learn the fundamentals of it.
Ofcourse some people are self taught and some others have a natural talent for it but these people are just the minority and a very small percentage on our planet.
Psy trance was mainly started by people who had music backround,people like Total Eclipse,Koxbox,Space Cat,Sandman and many more were musicians long time before they were involved into psy trance.
Then came the next generation of people who didnt have a music backround but were self taught after spending thousands of hours in studios like Wizzy Noise for example.
Then the bad things started happening...
Young people discovered that they could make music just by using a pc,thousands of them tried but very very few succeeded.Therefore terms like neo full on we born and slowly but steadily the market was overflood with low production quality and non existent ideas music especially from Israel.
So today we got something even worst,even younger people from countries like Russia,Israel,India and Portugal with no musical backround at all and with just one pc and very very few software and no talent at all trying to do something that cannot even be described as music and promote it as 'dark psy' or 'twisted psy' or 'crazy psy' or whatever.That thing is nothing more than just a kick and bass filled with high distorted sounds all over and stupid samples speaking about the devil or destruction or whatever.
The only similarity of 'dark psy' with psy trance is the use of a kick and bass (that almost every music on the planet uses anyway specially electronic one) there is absolutely nothing else connecting these two music genres and psy trance is being exploited by these 'dark psy' artists in order to get promoted and create a new music genre.
So all of you dark psy guys please get your pcs and devil and scapegoats pictures and move to Syberia and do something on your own and dont use psychedelic trance in order to promote your thing.

you might say they sound better then this new stuff , but thats dark allrighty (my personal favorite old dark trance).
you can also listen to some new stuff , i can recomend Pondscum , Gow , Jahbo and keep on and on .. say what you want on that, IMO its fuckin great music ,realy made me tripin to great places, and i have no intrest to promote those artists , exept that i enjoyed listen to their music (and still do , even i dont do psydrugs anymore , and yeah the drugs did helped me to open my mind to this stuff , but now i like it also when im sober )
yes some of it is shit , also any other style in the world , and godamm , unprofessional house can make my ears go deaf.. but i think there is two sides for evrything and you choose to see the negative side here.. personly i wont listen to just kick bass and noizz.. unless this noizz sounds good to me , which takes alot of work for sure.

Yes DETOX, you can create four part composition using some chord progressions and nice melodies which fuse into great harmonies using 7ths in any melodic minor scales... playing with the submediant and leading tone. You can create movement in the different parts, swith scales in the track... I mean you name it... But following these rules does not make music good. Sometimes an African drummer singing can have more heart that many compositions from University graduates and concertists. Sometimes the drumming and some strange noises (Animals, wind, plane abstract are enough to produce a trance state with more power than many N number of parts composition.
Are you so retro that would say Kandinsky with his very abstract style is shit compared to Rembrant? If it was for this mentality revolution would never happen.
But tell me an artists, in your opinion, that effectively does mind blowing music from your label y a revolutionary non-commercial artistic manner. Something as inspiring as Semsis, Doof, Hallucinogen, Prana, GNOTR... For me personally RED, Samadhi, Derango, Para Halu, Psykovski... all have made me feel interested in psy trance again. The have melodic/harmonic tracks. I also listen to Perfect Stranger, Benza, Mr. Peculiar, Voice of COD. Plusquam, Behind Blue Eyes, Tron, Tranan and many many more. I never limit myself. Plus a ton of techno, acid techno, minimal tech, electro, D&B... music is my life and I love what i love. Never buy music by names, always by listening.
And if you know your 20th century music history there was this movement called minimalism and the sound of two tin cans hitting are music. And dissonance is music. You sound like Bush in his speaches, flat, narrow minded and bordering ignorance.
