Btw the artwork of that Baphomet engine album was made by Androcell's Quasga... I highly doubt he worships the devil (but who knows?  ).

This kind of imagerie in trance resembles, much like Acidhive said, the Metal movement during the 80s.
Now you may ask why did this occur in the first place with Metal? Well, to answer that you would have to listen to Guns N Roses, Poison, KISS, Def Leppard, Motley Crue and countless other cheezy commercial rock "hairbands" that spawned after true pioneers like Black Sabbath, Motorhead and Pink Floyd set the tone. In reaction to the onslaught of such crap music, well people tend to go underground and vent their frustration by making "dark" music.
Now see any similarities in Psytrance? I sure do  |

Again this fucking conversation... it look like isratrance likes to go in circles. I can't belive for a self praise open minded scene there are those who still want to censor. The elements of control, the rules are deep rooted and are limiting creativity. |

Artifakt-Nosferatu is crap?
not in my book...
I also thought "Twilight Children" was a pretty damn fine comp. I assume this is the sort of thing people are talking about (track names like Redevil.. mwahahaha scary scary DEVIL!!)...
I wish more of people who to make doomish/scary sounding music would take more inspiration from Aurinko records, Spies, Sandman, Dark Soho, the true masters of this stuff.

Sandman had a rich music backround (not to mention talent) before joining trance,i doubt any of todays kids know how to play a melody on a piano.
I even doubt if they have ever touched or even seen a piano...

another irony....in 1307, Philip IV of France accused the Knights Templar of worshipping Baphomet...yes, old hob himself!
