I assume that artists that play worldwide and release tracks in compilations and albums made it for their full time job and career. However, education is really important in our world. I have not heard about artists who study in universities or colleges except of Yuli (BLT\Perfect Stranger) who studied something that currently I dont remember what.
Is it possible to be a full time artist and study biology or electronics for a first university degree? Are there any who did\do it?

Anything is possible
sure you can do this, but in this case studies goes first and music is something you can spend your freetime with....
im going to study music production next year so i dont think i will have a problem in combining music making and studies
but i also want to studie biology or nature science.. lets see what kind of turns my life takes...
Good luck!

I study psychology full time at university and I need to balance music and studies. I cannot sacrifice any classroom efforts for music which is just a hobby to me. But hobbies, when taken seriously enough, can bear fruit I hope. In time.

I'm working on my bachelors degree right now, and making music. Perhaps a masters degree after that. But needless to say, I'm not touring the world.

Capsula is a student - chemistry, If I'm not wrong. The tracks on his albums are influenced by that.

in my opinion if you have some profession that you are really like and really want to learn to depth and you are really want to work in this profession in the future so this is sound reasonable becuz in my opinion this is waste of time and waste of money to learn something without doing something in practice.
but after all if this is will make you feel satisfied in your life so go for it |

My God, an attorney. What a drag, if I were a DJ then I'd know what I'd want to keep on doing... Attorneys suck, as if we don't have enough of those already

i think the trance lifestyle, atleast the "enlightened" part of it makes studying & joining the corporate community kind of not what you want-ish.
